Model Updates

Hey Guys!
here's an update on what's been happening as of late :)
well first off the progress is looking pretty awesome altogether!
the programers are making a WAY cool engine the is almost complete, and seeing the models coming in is bringing it altogher well :)

Well that sucks...

This lesson I started on the Kohjuma king memorial thingy a ma jig but when i tried to open it up at home to work on it the file's corrupted, i'm hoping there's a backup of it on the computer at tafe, thought i'd post the situation instead of nothing at all.

A few concept ideas for the volanic desert level. A skull of a Ji-Gumo stuck on a stick, could be a trophy of some sort or a warning that there are wild Ji-Gumo about with other creatures that could be lurking also.
Also I have the volcano and made a hive inside it, I havent got much info about it except creatures use it to transport around or live within it.

Working on Animations now with the Oracle rigged up.
Mount/Unmount code working. Just needs the creature to be created and inserted into the game by those overseeing it's creation.

adams status update

Hey all havn't posted in a while so here is all I have been up to so far in the past weeks.

I have finished modeling and unwrapping my volcabeetle and also done some basic texturing,

I have almost finished my plant model, i just need to reduce the poly count and fix it up a bit.

Just another concept drawing, it's just a bit of a random drawing, a memorial pike like pillar with the teeth and arms of a slain Kohjuma that was a lot bigger than a usual size Kohjuma, it’s been given the name Kohjuma King because there hasn't been another sighting of a Kohujuma this big for decades.

Volcanic-Desert Island Object Concepts

Haven't posted anything in a while but I have here a few objects for one of the levels. Drew up a Rune along with a fossil, could have something nifty to do with them?
The bone I drew up could possibly be a tool or weapon of some sort which ever one works for the best.
Bit of dead grass and lastly a Geyser, just a simple sketch of one , probably make it look more kick-ass within process.

Drogan - Normal Mapping

Just a quick update to show where I'm at considering I haven't posted in while. Fallen a bit behind but slowly catching up. Should hopefully have the sculpting finished this evening. This is what I've go so far with the normal mapping. Muscle anatomy is certainly not my strong point but oh well, getting there.

Have my texture ready though so just a case of throwing it on.

Model all done so just did some concept drawings for the Swamp Temple level, the tools are just a come to mind drawing.
Got a spear which could be used for hunting, the blade is made of bone and tied down by some vines onto a carved wooden pole.
next to that is a hammer used to build things and next to it is a stone chisel for things like shaping out stones, both made from rock the hammer being tied down onto a wooden handle.
Last is a knife that could be used as a cutting tool around the village, completely carved from a bone, tied around the handle is some animal pelt to improve gripping.

Well the structure for A.I. is pretty much done (just a couple more things need doing) but that is it. So now for message for the Multimedia guys GET YOUR MODELS DONE SO WE CAN AT LEAST HAVE PLACE HOLDERS! I am sick of hearing from Tanya and Michelle about the lack of work you guys are doing so get your asses into gear!

Traffic Light plant, the petals close when its changing colours, and when it re-opens the bulb is a different colour. Red = Stop, Green = Go.
