In-Game Designs!

I would like to thank everyone that worked on the Eclipse project with me :) and especially those who featured their work ingame. you guys have been a simply spectacular team!
i heard some AWESOME stuff today about the game.. they were extremely impressed, this has quite possibly been the most sucessful project yet, and i think we should be Damn proud!

there (as always) were some errors and content that was not implemented in the end, but we got alot of it in, and it was Alot by comparison to the earlier projects.
i will be seeing about a revised version with some of these errors fixxed and a little more implemented, and then ill be seeing about oraganising you coppies if we can ;)

This is the nearly completed sun flower, floating sun needs to be textured.

Crab Monster

This is the CRAB monster, A crazy one eyed crab with a glow tail to attract its prey.

This is roughly 50cm high and grow to over 1m long.

Its crawl have to crushing strength of 10 tons!

The Sombrero Lily Flower

This is the Sombrero Lily flower.

It collects rain water in its sombrero like flower.

The water is absorbed by the lily though the filter in the centre on the flower.

As the stalk in the middle grows its flowers more leafs which slowy transform into more sombrero Lily flowers.

This flower is also another source of water for the creatures around the areas it can be found.

The Sombrero Lily flower is only found where it rains.

Small creatures can break in flower off and use it as a hat.

Sun Flower

This is a Sun Flower.

During the day the petals close round the sun-like orb, while it absorbs ether though the ground to transfer to the orb.

At night the petals open and the orb floats above the flower emitting light and heat.

The petals on the inside are reflective, when the orb shines it scatters the light more.

The larger the plant gets the bigger the orb becomes.

As day arrives or the orb runs out of ether the orb floats back into the middle of the petals and the petal close agian. This process is repeated every night.

The orbs can found found in different colours. Depending on situation, Location or amount of ether absorbed.

At night the flower acts like a sort of night light as well as potential source of ether. The orbs needs to be picked using gloves due to its high temperature. If the orb is picked for its ether, the flower doesnt died. It slowly remakes the orb, the petals don't open until an orb has been created.
