Ji-Gumo Trailer

Hey everyone just thought I'd post the video of my Ji-Gumo trailer. Took a while but I like how it turned out. Enjoy.

Also good work to everybody who contributed to Eclipse, top job.

I would like to thank everyone that worked on the Eclipse project with me :) and especially those who featured their work ingame. you guys have been a simply spectacular team!
i heard some AWESOME stuff today about the game.. they were extremely impressed, this has quite possibly been the most sucessful project yet, and i think we should be Damn proud!

there (as always) were some errors and content that was not implemented in the end, but we got alot of it in, and it was Alot by comparison to the earlier projects.
i will be seeing about a revised version with some of these errors fixxed and a little more implemented, and then ill be seeing about oraganising you coppies if we can ;)

Progress

Over the past few weeks i have completed my plant model and put it on gonzo :D, started and almost finished my environmental object, and of course finished and submitted my volcabeetle. other than that not much else has been done.

Beta Testing Phase 2

Well as some of you may know we've had our second phase of beta testing, from what we can predict with the following bugs is that we are almost complete, all we are awaiting now are your models (Multimedia people of course).

The programmers have minor fixes to work through for the next 2 weeks, and shall hopefully have a playable version ready for installation for you all if you wish to take a copy of this AMAZING GAME!

Well done everyone of such a successful semester and I hope these last few weeks don't get to hectic.

The copy i took corrupted (happened again damn it) so I’ve spent most of the night just re doing the rope and stuff, but at the same time removing unnecessary poly, edges etc and forming it all together for the skinning and texture.

Ji-Gumo Skull Complete




Done and Done! 8D
The completed Ji-Gumo skull post, I do notice some splodgey bits of texture but so far I'm pleased with how the process is.
Right-o, just some idea of the actual texture of it, I made it look a lot more ancient and old then an ordinary ji-gumo skull and I made the tusks look all rotten-like for effect.



Update: Tried to blend the top part of the skull with texturing so it doesnt look out of place.

Also I only just realised we dont have the emails of the promo materials guys on the wiki so Ozy will grab those on Wednesday and I will put em up on Thursday.

An update on the Ji-Gumo Skull. I have texutred the post and the sign, with the sign reading "Danger". It is wise to not be in the area if you see this sign as there are wild Ji-Gumo about. Will be texturing the skull soon.

Eclipse items

Well these are my items a dead tree, a dead fish, stone plie and a plant. They all have been uvw unwrapped and textured aswell.
Polished up physX alittle more, which is done.
Started working on an advanced Platforming script for a future game input.
Will start on notes for presentation over the next 2 weeks.

Here's the scene I set up in max ive just been working from the animatic so im not sure how right it is. I didnt have a modle of the shell tower so i used used planes so i could map out where anything goes. The camera needs fixing abit but it just at a rough stage at the moment.

Ji Gumo Skull Object Update

Quick update on my skull, I've done some more work on it, stuck it on a log post and will have the sign on it (the green tile) edited and such later as well as the skull. Will have some type of danger text or picture on it.

Skull of a Ji-Gumo that will be balanced on a stick. It will be a kind of warning sign that there are wild Ji-gumo about and other creatures. So be careful.

Well for those who don't know my hard drive shat itself so I've been spending a while trying to get the beta build back to working order, so far were almost ready to start beta testing just awaiting some models from Michelle and some more updates from the rest of the Programming team.

Model Updates

Hey Guys!
here's an update on what's been happening as of late :)
well first off the progress is looking pretty awesome altogether!
the programers are making a WAY cool engine the is almost complete, and seeing the models coming in is bringing it altogher well :)
